The interactive DVD-ROM for students packaged with the Student’s Book encourages self study, helps both slow and fast students and supports adult learners who often miss classes.
face2face Second edition uses a new approach to teaching (as opposed to simply practising) listening skills, allowing learners to deal with both content and aspects of native speaker spoken English, giving them strategies to cope, even at lower levels.
A systematic focus on both spoken accuracy as well as fluency by giving students lots of opportunities to practise new language in both free and controlled contexts. This improves students’ fluency and accuracy.
Optional photocopiable resources for communicative activities in the Teacher’s Book mean the course can be tailored to the needs of different classes (course lengths, mixed-level classes).
Grammar is introduced via short, snappy dialogues, making the grammar more authentic/relevant for the student.
The Cambridge International Corpus and the Cambridge Learner Corpus will inform the vocabulary selected, ensuring the vocabulary presented is the most frequently used and relevant.
The course is compatible with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, ensuring the syllabus meets students’ and teachers’ expectations.
